From this weekend, the following beauty services will be allowed to operate with a maximum of 10 customers:
✅ Hairdressing, hair removal including waxing, manicures, pedicures, nail salons, eyelash extensions and facials
✅ Health practitioners registered under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law can provide cosmetic injections or other services involving skin penetration
✅ Qualified massage therapists can provide therapeutic massage for health reasons
From 13 June (Stage 2), the following additional beauty services will be allowed to operate:
✅ Spray tanning, saunas and other water-based spa services, and services involving skin penetration including tattooing and body piercing.
Businesses must have a COVID-safe plan and keep a register of clients.
