Today, I crossed the border…to the Goodna Technology Park to check out their brand new Solar Carpark 
Officially opened by the Minister for Energy, Dr Anthony Lynham MP, this 24-space car park has:
216 solar panels that can generate up to 55 kW of solar power, and; two electric charging stations able to give a 120 km boost in one hour, or fully recharge a car during a business day.It is the latest in a growing number of electric vehicle charging stations in our region, including one at Springfield Central that is part of our Government’s electric superhighway.
Renewable energy is important for our economic recovery – in creating jobs, reducing emissions and driving down power prices.
