Congratulations to the Ethnic Schools Association of Queensland Inc. and Brisbane Bangla School for hosting today’s ‘Mother Language & Community Language Schools Day’ Festival. 
This is an event I am always so pleased to support – I did my fair share of ‘Greek School’ on Saturdays and I believe there is real value in children and young people preserving their mother language and family culture.
Fantastic to join my colleagues Jonty Bush – Member for Cooper and Milton Dick MP for an entertaining program of music, dance, singing and poetry by students from a range of Brisbane’s language schools.
