As the Premier has rightly said, our nation is at a point in time where real and enduring action must be taken to address the economic & social inequality being faced by women in this country.
Issues such as the gender & superannuation pay gaps, access to affordable childcare, ending violence against women and addressing sexual harassment and discrimination in our workplaces and in society cannot be left in the “too hard” basket.
This requires national leadership and co-operation from all of the states to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Australian women.
