BREAKING: Queensland will declare South Australia a hotspot following an increase in locally acquired cases.

From 1am Thursday 22 July, anyone arriving into Queensland from South Australia will not be allowed to enter Queensland without an exemption.

Queensland residents can return, but will need to complete 14 days in hotel quarantine.

We strongly advise Queenslanders to reconsider travel to South Australia.

If you’re already in South Australia, please consider returning home if you can.

As an additional precaution, anyone entering Queensland from South Australia before 1am Thursday must immediately get tested and quarantine at home if they have been to any exposure venue in South Australia
