A very exciting and historic day for Greater Springfield and the Ipswich region as we officially broke ground on the Brisbane Lions Stadium. 
The 10,000 seat stadium will be the training facility for the men’s and women’s teams…but importantly will be the HOME ground for our Premiership winning AFL Women’s team.
All levels of Government have come together to support the Stadium’s construction with the Qld Government contributing $18 million towards the build.
Importantly, this will be a major community asset – bringing increased economic opportunities and local jobs whilst also fostering strong community partnerships and pathways for our young people.
