Steven Miles – Health & Ambulance Services Minister & MP for Murrumba has provided some further advice about one of today’s Covid19 cases.
Reports that the corrections trainer worked in detention facilities are untrue – he is a trainer and hasn’t been to any of the facilities.
He lives in Forest Lake and QHealth are still investigating how he contracted the virus.
When he became unwell he did the right thing and stayed home from work and got tested. Doing the right thing will make all the difference here.
QHealth has identified 25 close contacts, they are testing them all and they’re in quarantine.
Really important message too – to follow his lead, if you’re sick stay home and get tested.
