We need more spaces for young people in our #GreaterSpringfield community – safe spaces where youth can be engaged in positive ways, be provided with necessary supports and connections.
The team have been doing a fantastic job at the YMCA Springfield Central Community Centre but there is so much more we can do.
If re-elected, the Miles Labor Government and I have pledged $440,000 to Ipswich City Council to complete the top floor of the Community Centre which has remained unfinished and empty since 2020.
I know just how important it is to invest in young people within our #Jordan community – they are our future!
