Not 1️⃣ but 2️⃣great School Principal catch ups yesterday.
I had a terrific visit and tour of facilities with Principal Pam Ruddell at Flagstone State School and was so impressed with new supports being provided to students including the innovative "U-Turn Spaces" and the Sensory room for students.
This primary school is GROWING and I'm on a mission to understand what is happening with the new proposed Flagstone Primary school which is scheduled to open in 2028 / 2029.
I also had the opportunity to meet newly appointed Flagstone State Community College Principal Adam Richter.
Whilst still finding his feet, Adam is certainly attuned to the challenges and the opportunities of leading FSCC.
We had a terrific and honest chat about the days ahead and the stability he will provide in progressing important improvements for students, families and staff. ... See MoreSee Less

The current rate of immigration is becoming a highly contentious social issue to say the least & I think a lot more needs to be done to ensure people born in this country are priority & get every advantage & opportunity possible. Birth rates are down because it simply isn’t economically viable to have a large family (if any) in Australia anymore. In addition importing people from overseas to prop up our workforce & economy is merely band-aiding a broken system & displacing & denying alot of Australian citizens in the process. Too many politicians are using the PC rhetoric & saying all the buzz words without thinking of the long term effects it will have on this country. When you look at the strong surge in people favouring One Nation you can see I’m clearly not alone feeling this frustration.
the myth of monoculture, well some dreams never come true 😎
Welcome to all the professionally qualified people to lift Australia up.

Finally got a sneak peek 👀 at the brand-new Community Hub in #flagstone!
The space is absolutely wonderful and I was so excited to meet the lovely Chelsea from Beaucare who shared with me some of the exciting things they have planned for the Centre.
The Flagstone Hub will be an important space for services, support and connection and I would like to acknowledge and thank Logan City Council for their investment in the Flagstone community. ... See MoreSee Less

where is this community hub?
A very impressive building … FCA hosted our ladies night there a couple of weeks ago and it accommodated everyone really well.
The Deputy Premier has introduced laws into the Queensland Parliament which gives him the power to determine more projects of state significance.
Sounds reasonable.
Except, it also means the Government can then use that decision to compulsorily acquire private land for those projects with NO appeal rights for landowners.
This is a serious over reach and should concern every Queenslander.

Cool. I’ll start with his house
Russell Hinze was referred to as the Minister for Everything, now Bleijie can lay clain to be the Minister ‘who thinks he can do anything’. After all he has served his apprenticeship under the supreme leader who told us he would do everything Can Do Campbell; so now I guess it is only a matter of time before he challenges “i promise everything” Crisafulli.
Now THAT’S a flag! 🇦🇺
Great to join Milton Dick MP, Shayne Neumann MP and the Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School, Springfield Lakes year 6 cohort for the latest stop on the ‘National Flag Roadshow’.

Fantastic
Queensland is home to a vibrant and thriving Filipino community whose contributions continue to enrich our State's social, economic and cultural fabric. 🇵🇭
Tonight, we gathered in the Queensland Parliament to celebrate 128 years of Philippine Independence and 80 years of Philippine-Australian relations.
Thank you to Ambassador, His Excellency Antonio Morales and to the Honorary Consul, Sheryll Gabutero from the Philippine Consulate Queensland for hosting the most wonderful evening in celebration and recognition of these two important milestones.

Thank you for supporting our Community
A twenty year old kid born in a refugee camp became the youngest Australian ever to score at a World Cup - Nestory Irankunda.
Nestory’s parents fled a civil war in Burundi and walked into Tanzania. He was born in a camp in Kigoma.
He came to Australia as a baby and grew up kicking a ball barefoot in suburban parks because his family couldn’t afford boots or club fees.
People want to call that a refugee story.
I call it an Australian story.
People want to call multiculturalism a burden this country has to carry.
I call it our greatest strength.
A powerful reminder that immigrants and refugees don’t just seek safety—they bring talent, determination, hard work, and dreams that help build a stronger Australia.

maybe just listen to the young man's interview after the game ... then re think your post ... he talks about teammates, opportunity given, striving for success .... you on the other hand take a real feel good story and take a cheap political twist .... I say your action speaks volume about you more than him or other australian migrants ... we are one ... FYI
Typical of the left , we will make there win a racism story you are a clown, let them play footy first
He done more for Australia in 30 minutes than youll do in your whole term.

Such a lovely visit & tour with Principal Libby Bond at Greenbank State School this morning.
It’s been a little while since I’ve had a proper sticky beak 👀 and there are just so many wonderful things to see and hear about.
I’m loving the mini Village 🏡 with its own post office, vet and cafe as well as the growing veggie patch 🥕🥬🍅 along the beautiful nature play area jointly funded with the Greenbank State School P&C.
The school is also excelling musically 🎶 , has new terrific sporting facilities 🏀 and is as always…doing it the #Greenbank way! ... See MoreSee Less
