Thank you to Seqwater for a tour of the Bundamba Advanced Water Treatment Plant and a briefing on water security in South East Queensland.
Despite recent rain, the combined level of our drinking water dams is below 55%. 
The Gold Coast Desalination Plant and the SEQ Water Grid were important investments made during the Millennium Drought and have proven to be very helpful in the current environment.
Using water wisely really helps take pressure off our dam storage supplies – and it was great to hear that South East Queenslanders are keeping average water consumption below 150 litres per person per day.
