It is with pleasure that I announce the fourth annual Violet Jordan Leadership Award.
I do so in honour of the remarkable achievements of Ellen Violet Jordan whom our electorate is named after.
I wish to encourage all students who have entered year 11 or 12 in 2022 to apply for this leadership award, and they can do so by submitting:
- A short essay exploring their definition of what leadership is and who they would list as an example of a good leader (500 words)
- A brief outline of their current community leadership involvement and how this award would contribute to developing their leadership potential (250 words)
The winner will be awarded $1000 to assist with their final years of education.
