Award-winning technology that automatically triggers green lights for emergency vehicles has been rolled out over 175 intersections across the Ipswich & Lockyer Valley region.
Around 97 percent of signalled intersections in Ipswich managed by Transport and Main Roads (TMR) are now fitted with the technology to green light emergency first responders when timing is critical.
Whether it’s firefighters, an ambulance crew, or police, this important and innovative technology can mean the difference between life and death with a reduction of around 26% in emergency response times.
