A reminder that new mobile phone and seatbelt cameras are LIVE from today! 
During the trial period (26 July – 16 Oct), Transport and Main Roads Queensland issued more than 21,000 warning letters for seat belt and mobile phone related offences.
From today:
if you are caught using your phone behind the wheel, you’ll be hit with a $1,033 fine and lose 4 demerit points.
If you are caught not wearing a seatbelt, you’ll be fined $413 and lose 3 demerit points.
